Tokyo, October 29, 2021-Canon today announced that in the third quarter of 2021, it has successfully deleted 3,294 items from Amazon in Germany and Italy using Amazon reporting tools*, inquiries and/or information letters* *, Spain, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands and Turkey. Since June 2018, the total number of items deleted by Amazon in Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, and Turkey is 24,082**. These lists provide third-party laser toner cartridges from suppliers that Canon believes infringes one or more of European Patent 2 087 407, European Patent EP 2 137 577, and European Patent 1 977 289.
